COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 19-year-old man accused of choking and shooting his sister now faces charges after allegedly firing at officers during a standoff at a southeast Columbus home Saturday afternoon.
According to Columbus Division of Police Chief Elaine Bryant, the city’s public safety department received a 911 call around 2:35 p.m. reporting a domestic violence incident at a residence in the 800 block of Gilbert Street.
The caller reportedly told dispatchers that her brother had choked her. According to the release, the suspect could be heard in the background saying, “Come get me… I got something for you all.”…
