MADISON, Ala. — The Madison Police Department has announced that registration is now open for its Rape, Aggression, Defense (RAD) classes. This free self-defense program is designed for women, focusing on awareness, prevention, and risk reduction before moving on to hands-on defense techniques.
The RAD course will be held from September 15-17 with three evening sessions from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Girls and women ages 12 and up are welcome.
