HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Overnight closures of all lanes of Interstate 64 westbound to allow contractor crews to install overhead signs are set to begin as early as Wednesday, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The full four-hour closures will take place on I-64 westbound from Settlers Landing Road/Woodland Road at exit 267 to North Armistead Avenue at exit 265 from midnight to 4 a.m. starting as early as Wednesday and Thursday, VDOT said. Signed detours will be in place to direct drivers from I-64 westbound to Woodland Road/Settlers Landing Road at exit 267 and North Armistead Avenue to access the I-64 westbound onramp. The backup date is Friday.
