Two killed in Santa Rosa crash

(KRON) — Two people died in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 12 in Santa Rosa Sunday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The driver of a Chevrolet Silverado and one passenger were both killed when the truck hit a tree on the eastbound side of the highway, west of Dutton Avenue. The truck had no other occupants.

“For reasons still under investigation, it veered off the roadway to the right and struck a tree,” CHP said.
