VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The Shirley Hall house is back on the market and worth millions of dollars.
The historic residence was put up for sale Aug. 24, going for $10.5 million dollars. The house is located on 1109 South Bay Shore Drive in Virginia Beach.
According to the Virginia Department of Historical Resources, the two-floor house was built in 1940 by architect William G. Perry for the Deveraux family. The house was known as the Deveraux house, but when resident Richard Roberts bought it in the ’90s, he renamed it after his wife. Roberts passed away June 12 at the age of 90…
