Dallas Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Sunday evening in South Dallas.
On August 31, 2025, at about 5:10 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1800 block of Jeffries Street, near the Austin Street Center.
When police arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was rushed to a local hospital, where he later died from his injury. His name has not yet been released. The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office will work to confirm his identity…
