SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Starting in 2026, St. Paul businesses will be required to increase the minimum wage.
In a notice Monday, St. Paul officials shared the new minimum wage hourly rate will be $16.37 for businesses with more than 101 employees. This change will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2026.
Then, on July 1, 2026, small businesses with 6-100 employees will also be required to pay the same rate. Micro businesses – with five employees or fewer – will be required to pay an hourly rate of $14.25…
