Convicted felon arrested for armed carjacking, marks 11th arrest

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A convicted felon is once again behind bars Monday, accused of carjacking a man at gunpoint.

41-year-old Matthew Hunter is no stranger to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office. This most recent incident marks his eleventh arrest.

BCSO says a few weeks ago, Hunter pulled up to the Maverick gas station on Wagner Street. He reportedly walked up to another car, pulled out a rifle, and demanded the driver hand over his keys…
