Back-to-school traffic tips for Eugene parents and drivers

EUGENE, Ore. – As children return to school in Eugene and Bethel School Districts, drivers are urged to exercise caution in school zones and residential areas, according to the Eugene Police Department.

Officials with EPD’s Traffic Safety Unit said increased patrols will focus on ensuring the safety of students during pick-up and drop-off hours.
