Man accused of stabbing tourist with hypodermic needle arrested again

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A man who was arrested last year for reportedly stabbing a tourist with a hypodermic needle has been arrested again.

According to arrest records, Asheville police arrested Julien Bryan McArthur, 30, on Aug. 31. He was charged for a probation violation and is being held without bond.

Asheville police had arrested McArthur on May 31, 2024, at the 30 block of Biltmore Avenue for a reported stabbing incident.
