COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Grocery giant Kroger is offering a one-day savings event to honor seniors in central Ohio.
Kroger’s Columbus division has announced that customers 55 and older can save an extra 5% on their total in-store purchases on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025. According to a news release, shoppers can get the discount by using their loyalty card, driver’s license, or similar ID and informing the cashier that they qualify.
“We’re proud to support our senior shoppers with meaningful ways to save,” said Mark Bruce, Corporate Affairs Manager for Kroger’s Columbus Division. “At Kroger, we’re always thinking about how we can help our shoppers save money and stretch their dollars – and this special discount is just one way of many we can give back.”
