1 in custody after bank robbery in Anderson Co.

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — Deputies responded to an alarm at an Anderson County bank Monday, where a suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

According to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect escaped Dogwood State Bank on foot, prompting a K9 track to locate the individual. The agency shared a photo of the suspect during the reported robbery.

The incident occurred around 1:15 p.m. on Clemson Boulevard, and no injuries have been reported. Deputies remain on the scene to investigate further, interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage.
