26-year-old accused of punching Hartselle police officer after throwing container of buttermilk on woman’s property

HARTSELLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A 26-year-old man was arrested after police said he threw a container of buttermilk onto a woman’s property and punched an officer in the face.

On Friday, August 29, Hartselle Police officers responded to a disturbance call near the intersection of McGaugh Street and Cullman Street around 8:16 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the caller, who stated that 26-year-old Austin Wright verbally harassed her and threw a container of buttermilk on her property…
