KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — One person has died following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 40 in Knoxville on Monday.
Emergency personnel responded to a two-vehicle crash on I-40 W near the Papermill Drive exit around 8 p.m. The Knoxville Police Department said in a release that one of the drivers was transported to UT Medical Center after being ejected from her vehicle and pronounced dead.
The driver has not yet been publicly identified. No other injuries were reported…
