UK running back suspended amid domestic violence case

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Kentucky’s leading rusher from 2024 is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday in connection with an ongoing domestic violence investigation.

After being suspended for the season opener, Jamarion Wilcox will remain sidelined after being suspended to start the season in Saturday’s win against Toledo.

During a press conference on Monday, head coach Mark Stoops declined to provide an update on Wilcox.

“Yeah, I don’t have anything. His status has not changed. So, I really cannot comment on that anymore,” Stoops said.
