Louisville judge sets $500,000 bond for DUI suspect in fatal crash on Snyder Freeway

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A Louisville judge set a $500,000 bond for the man accused of driving under the influence and causing a crash that killed a 12-year-old and left two others seriously injured on the Interstate 265 on Labor Day.

Renaldo Gill, 34, was arrested at the scene of the crash. He is facing numerous charges, including murder.

A 12-year-old girl died in the crash, and a woman and an infant child are suffering from life-threatening injuries after Gill allegedly crashed into the back of their car on Gene Snyder Freeway around 2:30 a.m. Monday, according to Louisville Metro Police spokesperson John Bradley.
