LOUISVILLE, Ky. — While it currently isn’t June, that doesn’t mean we can’t continue to celebrate Pride.
On Sept. 6 and Sept. 7, the free Louisville Pride Festival will take over Bardstown Road in the Highlands for a free day of community and celebration. It starts at 11 a.m. that Saturday.
“We’re giving people a safe place to be, to be in community, to see that ‘love is love,’ people are people,” Victoria Taylor with the Louisville Pride Foundation said. “We get together and we work through what society is giving us.”…
