MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A local man allegedly robbed a woman and forced another man down the street Saturday morning, according to the Mobile Police Department.

Officers were called to the area of 300 Central Plaza Apartments on Bay Shore Avenue at about 8:15 a.m. Aug. 30 in reference to a robbery, according to an MPD news release.
When officers arrived, they learned a man had allegedly taken money from a woman’s purse before forcing another man to walk down the road with him.
No one was hurt, and 65-year-old Carl Porter of Mobile, who reportedly knew the victims, was arrested and charged with two counts of robbery, and one count each of kidnapping, assault, and domestic violence assault.
