Suspended Hopewell councilor to serve no jail time for embezzlement of public funds conviction

HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) — Dominic Holloway, who is suspended from the Hopewell City Council, will serve no jail time for his conviction of embezzling public funds.

Holloway appeared in Charles City County Circuit Court on Tuesday, Sept. 2, where he was handed 10 years of supervised probation.

He was also sentenced to five years with five years suspended, which means he will not serve jail time…
