Roanoke City Council to accept FEMA disaster funds from Hurricane Helene

The Roanoke City Council will consider accepting Federal Emergency Management Agency Disaster Assistance Funds totaling an estimated $163,368 at its meeting Tuesday.

Hurricane Helene impacted Roanoke in the form of “high winds and heavy rain” in late September of last year, the agenda report says.
