Mississippi first responders can get their wills and advanced health care directives free Sept. 27

BRANDON — A nonprofit organization will host a free legal clinic later this month to provide wills and advance healthcare directives for Mississippi first responders and their spouses.

Wills for Magnolia State First Responders, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, will hold the event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Rankin County Safe Room and Conference Center, 651 Marquette Road in Brandon.

Volunteer attorneys and paralegals will prepare the documents at no cost. Each participant will meet with a paralegal to review an initial questionnaire before documents are drafted, reviewed by an attorney, and finalized on site.
