Revamped Appleton Public Library has welcomed more than 200,000 visitors since opening in February

APPLETON, Wis. — The new co-working space at the Appleton Public Library gives Kate Rennebohm and her colleges another — larger — place to meet in the city.

“I have a writing group with a number of other professors in the summer. We like to write together and none of our offices are big enough to support us doing that,” Rennebohm said with a laugh. “As soon as the library opened, we were all over it to try to find spaces to work in.
