Memorial for drunk driving victim believed to be hit by a drunk driver

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A year after a drunk driver hit and killed a 16-year-old, his mother believes another drunk driver crashed into his memorial.

A driver crashed into memorial honoring Jason Padilla Jr., either Friday or Saturday during Labor Day Weekend. Jason died in May 2024 after a drunk driver hit him.
