Fire burns through two apartment buildings near Tropicana, Maryland Parkway

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A fire scorched two apartment buildings in Las Vegas late Tuesday morning, forcing dozens of units to evacuate.

A Clark County spokesperson confirmed crews were responding to a fire at a two-story complex in the 5000 block of Tamarus Street, near Tropicana Avenue and Maryland Parkway.

Three alarms were called for the fire, an official said, and a total of 31 units were evacuated and considered uninhabitable…
