A key architect of Augusta’s traffic program has resigned

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A central figure of Augusta traffic program has resigned.

John Ussery, assistant director of Augusta’s Department of Traffic Engineering, is leaving the city position to be closer to family, he told News 12.

Paving begins on the closed portion of Broad Street between 15th Street and St. Sebastian Way. But that’s just the start.
