BRYAN COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) – [UPDATE 12:02 p.m. 9/02/2025] Georgia State Patrol says the crash happened on I-16 in Bryan County near Mile Mark 47 in the right westbound lane.
A Ford Escape overtook a tractor-trailer and struck the rear left corner of the trailer. The Escape then left the road to the median shoulder where it hit the cable barrier in two places before coming to a stop.
The driver of the Escape was suspect of being impaired by drugs which caused the crash. The drive was taken to the hospital before being taken to the Bryan County Jail for charges related to the crash…
