I don’t know if this has been discussed enough, but the Florida State football program beat the then-No. 8 Alabama Crimson Tide in Doak Campbell Stadium this past Saturday afternoon by a score of 31-17.
This was an event that caused the college football landscape to enter into a frenzy. The Seminoles were supposed to continue embracing the “2-10” jokes forever by individuals such as ESPN’s Paul Finebaum, Kirk Herbstreit, and Greg McElroy
However, the perception has changed around Tallahassee, as head football coach Mike Norvell is now seen as “the man with the plan” after acquiring the mastermind of an offensive coordinator, Gus Malzahn, behind the beating of the Crimson Tide.
