Pearl Board of Aldermen vote down ordinance allowing liquor stores

PEARL, Miss. (WLBT) – Despite overwhelming support from residents earlier this year, liquor stores aren’t going to be allowed in Pearl.

On Tuesday, the Pearl Board of Aldermen voted 5-2 to reject an ordinance that would have allowed package stores to open in the city.
