JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) -Rain chances are increasing today and tomorrow as a weak boundary moves into the area, providing some lift. Combined with abundant moisture, this will lead to a better chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon.
This pattern will continue into tomorrow before drier conditions gradually return later in the week. Temperatures will steadily rise, reaching the low to mid-90s by the end of the week.
A brief cooldown is expected early next week, but until then, we’ll return to near-to slightly above-average temperatures…
