10 year anniversary events for Albuquerque Celebrates Recovery

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Celebrates Recovery is a celebration that happens each September and this year marks the 10th anniversary. During the month of September, there will be different events aimed at celebrating recovery and providing support and resources to those struggling with addiction.

‘Louie Lane’: UNM unveils new football tailgating experience outside University Stadium

Recovery Art Show – September 5, from 5 – 7 p.m. at El Chante Casa de Cultura Art Gallery. The event highlights the creative work of locals in recovery. The show aims to showcase, promote awareness, understanding and support for people on their recovery journey.

Recovery Main Event – September 12, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Civic Plaza. There will be over a number of tables at the event from various treatment organizations and other resources. Guests will also be able to enjoy music, entertainment, fun and more.

Recovery Pow Wow – September 12, from 2 – 8 p.m. Celebrate Native American culture from diverse indigenous nations. The event is free and open to the public…
