The LDS Mount Spokane Stake unites community members for a river clean up to honor 9/11 victims

SPOKANE, Wash. — On Saturday, September 6, members of The Church of Latter-day Saints of the Mount Spokane Stake will gather at 3 p.m. for a community river cleanup. The cleanup will honor those who lost their lives during the 9/11 attacks.

If you’d like to get involved in the community river cleanup, volunteers will meet at Boulder Beach, located on East Upriver Drive.

The September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance–sometimes referred to as “Patriots Day” is a federally recognized day.
