The search is on for a convicted felon who’s facing charges following a weekend shooting in Western North Carolina. Just after 12AM Saturday night, Officers from the Asheville Police Department responded to North Lexington Avenue after reports of gunfire.
On scene, police found a victim with a serious gunshot wound to the leg. Investigators say several people had been involved in a fight at the nearby Tiger Mountain Bar. After leaving the bar on foot, a second altercation broke out about a block away in a parking lot.
That’s when a male suspect reportedly retrieved a handgun from a vehicle and fired at another man. The suspect then fled on foot…
