Sambrazil Market to Open in Lakeland This October

LAKELAND, FL – Sambrazil Market, a new Brazilian grocery and specialty shop, is preparing to open in early October at 2020 S Combee Rd, Lakeland, FL 33801. Owner Anna-Clara Santos told Business Debut that the family-run market will celebrate its grand opening between late September and October 1.

A Brazilian Market for the Community

Sambrazil Market was created to serve the growing Brazilian community in Lakeland while also introducing American customers to Brazilian food and culture. “We noticed that there was no Brazilian market in the area,” Santos said. “We’re going to bring everything that we would need.”

The store will feature refrigerated and vacuum-sealed meats sourced directly from Brazil, along with a variety of grocery items, a bakery, and a self-service açaí bar where customers can select their own toppings, including fresh fruit, granola, and condensed milk.

There won’t be any chairs, but shoppers can have a quick, easy experience, grabbing what they need to take home. Visitors can find items such as Brazilian cheeses, garlic bread, and farofa, a traditional side dish made from toasted cassava flour. The meats won’t be prepared on-site, but will be sold in vacuum-sealed packages for grilling at home, making them perfect for Sunday cookouts with family…
