(WPDE) — South Carolina students are making strides in their academic performance, according to the latest SC Ready results released by the State Department of Education.
The agency reported that students are progressing toward the state’s ambitious goal of having at least 75% of students performing at or above grade level by 2030.
This year, 59.6% of students met or exceeded expectations in English Language Arts (ELA), while 43.9% achieved similar results in math. The SC Ready assessments are administered to public school students in grades 3 through 8…
