BAYOU LA BATRE, Ala. (WKRG) — Uneven roads littered with potholes lead to a lot of unanswered questions as road work appears to go unfinished on Highway 188 in Bayou La Batre.

Road work began last month to resurface part of the highway, but residents were left wondering what was going on as crews began to pack up and leave.
“Unfinished road work,” Ted Gillespie said. “It’s created havoc!”
