A woman was assaulted by a 50-year-old woman on Third Avenue early morning on Sept. 1.
According to university police Chief Jeffrey Besong, a woman was punched in the head and had her hair pulled out by another woman around 4 a.m. The suspect was not named but was arrested by Point Park police at 4:07 a.m.
A PointALERT notification was sent to the campus community at 5:10 a.m. for the initial assault, identifying the suspect as a black woman wearing all black clothing. A second notification announcing her arrest was sent at 6 a.m…
