‘It changed my family’s life forever’: Family fights against drowsy driving after losing 8-year-old

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Seventeen years after 8-year-old Ronshay Dugans was killed in a crash caused by a drowsy driver, her family is continuing their mission to prevent similar tragedies.

Ronshay was on a school bus heading to the Tallahassee Boys and Girls Club on Sept. 5, 2008, when a cement truck slammed into the back of the bus. The driver of the truck was drowsy behind the wheel.
