LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – After more than four decades as the trusted voice guiding viewers through Nebraska’s weather, 10/11 Severe Weather Center Chief Meteorologist Ken Siemek has announced he will retire at the end of October.
“What a privilege it has been to serve the people of Nebraska for over 40 years,” Ken said. “In my heart, our viewers became an extension of my own family and I will never forget the support and patience they have shown me. I have been blessed.”
Ken is the longest-tenured employee in 10/11’s history. He joined the station in 1981 and quickly became a trusted source of weather information across Nebraska.
