The Wichita City Council discussed a number of topics at Tuesday’s meeting, including repairs to a number of city parks.
The playgrounds at Fabrique Neighborhood Park, East Cessna Park, Sleepy Hollow Park and West Meadows Park sustained significant flood damage this summer. However, the heavy rain meant the city saved $200 thousand in irrigation costs, which will cover the $150 thousand in repairs.
