The original artists of the Ken Kesey mural in downtown Springfield will refresh the painting during the Block Party on Friday, Sept. 5, the city said.
Old City Artists completed the two-story mural 10 years ago. It is on the east wall of the Odd Fellows Building, which houses Plank Town Brewing.
The artists will apply a fresh coat of paint during the sixth annual Springfield Block Party. Final paint touches will happen live during the party, which takes place on Main Street between Pioneer Parkway East and Seventh Street, according to the city…
