After multiple crashes in recent memory, railroad safety is one of the top concerns for Woodburn’s local officials and residents.
To address this concern, the city is hosting another workshop on railroad safety education presented by the Operation Lifesaver organization. The workshop will take place 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at the Woodburn Public Library, 280 Garfield St.
“Come and learn how to stay safe when walking or driving near railroad tracks and trains. We’ll share important tips and explain how to use emergency notification signs in case of an emergency,” the city said in a release…
