Man involved in shootout at Albany park gets over 6 years in prison

ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) — One of the men who was involved in a shootout at an Albany park last year is heading to state prison.

Cheick Diarra, 21, was sentenced to 6 ½ years in prison for the incident that happened in Madison Park on Oct. 19, 2024, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.
