Surveillance footage captured during Indiana Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith’s chaotic Aug. 20 town hall in Newburgh provides the clearest depiction released to date of the incidents that would culminate in three attendees’ arrests.
The footage, obtained by the Courier & Press from the Ohio Township Trustee’s Office through a public records request, has been cited by the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office as much of the basis for charging two attendees with felony battery on a police officer and a third with resisting law enforcement.
