Builders bringing a few surprises to final Barber Beast on the Bay

The countdown has begun for the last-ever Barber Beast on the Bay, which is taking place this Saturday.

The beast building crew could be seen on Presque Isle State Park putting their obstacles together.

Presque Isle extends 2025 swimming season

Thirty natural and manmade obstacles are spaced throughout the peninsula, which will take crews about two days to complete.

The lead builder said it takes a team to assemble the obstacles, but they have it down to a science.
