Mobile man accused of hitting person with handgun, police say

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police Department officers have arrested a man who allegedly hit a person with a handgun on Tuesday.

According to the MPD news release, officers were called to the 500 block of Rickarby Street around 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 2 for a report of an assault.

When officers arrived, they found that the victim had been hit with a handgun by a known man, now identified as 22-year-old Kentrail Franks of Mobile.
