Woman charged in robbery, kidnapping at Montgomery hotel

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A woman has been arrested in connection to a robbery and kidnapping at an extended stay hotel in Montgomery, according to court documents.

Shaquita Anderson, 34, is charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and one count of kidnapping in the first degree.

Court documents accuse Anderson of “aiding in the taking” of money, a cellphone, jewelry, and other property from two men while she was armed with a pistol.
