JANS – Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center celebrated its 55th anniversary in true grandeur August 7, 2025, at The Reed House at Live Oaks in Jackson, MS. In “Celebrating the Past, Present, and Future” of one of the largest and oldest community health centers in the State of Mississippi, guests were treated to a free-flowing reception-style dinner and the musical genius of gospel artist Terrell Brinson.
A special video presentation by Congressman Bennie G. Thompson set the tone to raise a glass in honor of Jackson-Hinds’ astonishing contributions to Mississippi residents, especially with access to affordable health care services being threatened throughout the nation. Currently, the health center serves over 49,000 patients at multiple sites in Hinds, Warren, and Copiah counties.
