Round Rock man sentenced to 30 years for methamphetamine delivery

ROUND ROCK, Texas — A 40-year-old man from Round Rock has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for the manufacture or delivery of methamphetamine. The conviction follows an investigation by the Round Rock Police Department.In Spring 2025, the Round Rock Police Department launched an investigation after receiving multiple tips about suspected drug activity at a local residence. Detectives identified the suspected dealer as Austin McClure Bounds, age 40. A search warrant executed at his residence led to the seizure of methamphetamines and other narcotics, according to a press release from the department.
