FLETCHER, N.C. (WLOS) — Helene significantly impacted agriculture across the mountain.
The opening of the Mountain State Fair promises help for farmers that the state has been unable to provide until now.
During the fair’s safety briefing, N.C. Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler revealed a few details about $221 million in federal disaster assistance that will be released as soon as tomorrow.
