Deron Rippey Jr., one of the top point guards in the 2026 class, will host Duke and Kentucky for in-home visits this morning. Duke’s Jon Scheyer and GM Rachel Baker, along with Kentucky’s Mark Pope and at least one assistant from each staff, are expected to be in attendance.
Rippey, a 6-foot-2 five-star senior out of Blair Academy (NJ), is considering both the Blue Devils and the Wildcats and has official visits scheduled to both programs.
Rippey, a native of Brooklyn and Rivals’ No. 2 ranked point guard nationally, is also considering schools like Alabama, Louisville, Miami, North Carolina, NC State, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas, and others. He is the No. 8 overall player in the 2026 class, per Rivals.
